Let’s face it, we all want something cheesy sometimes! While Velveeta tastes good, it is not good for our bodies. So, I created this creamy dairy-free nacho cheese sauce to meet that craving! This sweet potato-based “cheese” sauce is gonna rock your world. Dip vegetables or chips, load it into GF tacos or make some nachos like I did on my Jana Eats YouTube channel. Watch the video and make the recipe below!
Products I love for this recipe:
- Dr. Bragg’s Nutritional Yeast: This yeast is the good kind! It’s full of B vitamins and cheesey flavor. You can put this as a topping for popcorn or crackers, use it to make dairy-free cheese, the possibilities are endless.
- Primal Kitchen Avocado Oil: stands up to high-heat cooking. Avocado oil stands up to high-heat cooking and is full of healthy monounsaturated fats. It has even been shown to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke, and improve arthritis.

Notes
You can use either orange or white flesh sweet potato for this recipe, but the white flesh is my preferred choice.
