This Cuban-inspired Fresh Banana Mint Salad is lightly sweet and whipped up in minutes. Refreshing and delicious as a dessert, snack or side anytime. Ingredient Tips:

The walnuts in this recipe can be replaced with peanuts if you like them. Don’t forget to put in that pinch of salt. I know it can seem odd to add salt to something sweet, but it actually brings out the sweetness and flavors in the dish more!

Fresh mint is a must for this fruit salad and makes it super refreshing. Garden/plant-lovers tip: Mint is a fast grower and loves moist soil, try it out!

Local honey helps local beekeepers, and it tastes amazing! Plus, honey has been shown to help with cough, be anti-inflammatory and possibly help with allergies from your local area. (Just remember, kids under 1 years old should not be given honey).

My favorite ingredients/products for this recipe:

    • Premier Research Labs Pink Salt: tons of minerals for healthy cell function. This is a great finishing/cold recipe salt, not really made for high heat cooking. Premier Pink Salt is a blend of two premium, untreated, solar-dried sea salts which deliver critical trace elements. The two salts are Mediterranean Sea Salt and Alaea Hawaiian Sea Salt, which gives it the pink color. Here is a similar one on Amazon Prime: Terrasoul Himalayan Pink Salt
